I’ve been wondering why I was having trouble remembering which paper I was working on or which grant was due or which intern was working on each project until I sat down and listed everything.
Hmmm ... seems as though I’m a bazillion times more productive than I thought as I have 11 papers either in press, submitted or in preparation (a couple of these are from my own lab); 2 grants pending and another 3 due out by the end of the summer; and 5 trainees working on 3 different-but-related projects.
Doesn’t make me feel so bad about dragging my sorry ass into work in time for a mid-morning break.

Way to go PiT!!!! Publish till your fingers are reduced to bare bone!!!
ReplyDeleteNow if only you would publish on your blog a little more frequently :D
AB
I bow to you, Sensei.
ReplyDelete11?
ReplyDeletewow. THat's a great acheivment. I'm hoping this would pay off and 11 get published too.
(I'll crawl back and try and write that one paper... ;) )
Fuck. Yaah!
ReplyDeleteI feel your pain. My logjam is at the pre-submission stage. Starting to clear downriver though with 3 submitted and 1 accepted. Oh and my career in the balance with all the grants now being scored...
ReplyDeleteSome sense of acheivement is what I'm searching for though. And a beer of course.

Whoa. That makes me a little dizzy. I will now stop dragging my feet on the two writing things I have to get done... maybe.
ReplyDeleteAs an aside, is it me or do the blogger word verifications keep getting longer and more complicated? "poedoxim"
I'm impressed!
ReplyDeletewow

I am now in the 'ok got some money, now I have to produce' stage. exciting!
